Nsfas Bursaries For Teaching 2024-2025: Do you need funding to pursue your degree in teaching or obtain any other qualification in education? Well, NSFAS could assist you with all your funding needs. There are a number of teaching bursaries on offer each year to talented students who would love to teach the youth in South Africa. These bursaries for teaching and education are offered to students needing financial aid to gain great qualifications and become a teacher in specialized subjects.

There are many different courses from TVET colleges and universities that are funded by NSFAS.

Teaching and education are both courses that NSFAS funds, this includes Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degrees at all public universities and teaching courses that are offered at TVET colleges.

NSFAS, however, does not cover Postgraduate Education courses like the Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE). If you require funding for PGCE, it is recommended that you apply for the Funza Lushaka Bursary, which is specifically meant for teaching courses.
