Nsfas Application Status Unisa 2024-2025: Are you a University of South Africa (UNISA) student and applied for NSFAS Applications?, If your answer is yes, then you must be anxious about the status of your application. The application for NSFAS Aid ends on 30th November each year, Applicants might expect a response to their application a few days after the deadline. However, if you have not received any information from NSFAS on your application, you must conduct your own investigation. To check your NSFAS Application Status, visit or log into your myNSFAS Account with your ID and the password you created during your application. Below are the necessary steps to check your application status:

 

How To View/Check Nsfas Application Status Unisa

To check your NSFAS application status:

  1. Log into your myNSFAS account portal.
  2. Enter your ID or username and password.
  3. Click the SIGN IN! button.
  4. Once you log into your account dashboard, click on Track Funding Progress to check your application status.
  5. If your application has been successful, Congrats! If not, better luck next time.

 

Documents Needed During My Nsfas Registration Process

  1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
  2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
  5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
  6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
  7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
  8. An applicant who is known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

 

How to apply for UNISA nsfas online application

  1.  Visit the NSFAS website: www.nsfas.org.za online
  2. Then, you have to click on the “myNSFAS” tab
  3. After that, you create your myNSFAS account
  4. After creating myNSFAS account, you then have to click on the “Apply” tab
  5. Answer the following questions you see on your screen
  6. Update all your personal information
  7. Upload all the required supporting documents
  8. Lastly, Click on “Submit” to send your application for review.

 

Your NSFAS application will not be considered if you

  • already had NSFAS funding in 2023.
  • have already completed an undergraduate degree/diploma.
  • are not South African citizens.
  • need funding for a short learning certificate or program.
  • need funding for a postgraduate qualification, with an exception of the following qualifications:
    • BTech – Architecture / Architectural Technology
    • BTech – Engineering (all disciplines), Cartography, Forestry
    • BTech – Biokinetics, Biomedical Technology, Biotechnology
    • BTech – Chiropractic, Homoeopathy, all Nursing
    • BTech – Clinical or Dental Technology, Emergency Medical Care
    • Postgraduate Certificate in Education
    • Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting
    • LLB
