Nsfas Laptop Application Form 2024-2025: NSFAS-funded students enrolled in public universties and Tvet colleges can now apply for the NSFAS laptop. The NSFAS laptops are meant to aid students in their learning and writing of exams since most institutions have adopted online teaching and learning, and writing of exams online. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme(NSFAS) laptop application for 2024-2025 is available to apply at www.nsfas.org.za. If you are a NSFAS funded student then you will have to place an order to receive your laptop from NSFAS, if you are confused about this process then we’re here to help! Students Will Need The Following Document To Apply:

  • South African ID number
  • Student number
  • Contact details
  • Name of the institution registered at
  • Home address

 

 THE STEPS FOR PLACING AN ORDER ONLINE?

  1. Click here to visit the NSFAS website.
  2. Select “myNSFAS” on the top right of the screen.
  3. Tap on “Click to order your NSFAS Laptop Online”.
  4. Fill in your ID number and all the other information required.

After you have completed all of the needed checks and submitted your online order, you will be contacted to pick up your laptop at your registered institution.

 

How To Collect Your Laptop

Once the verification process is complete, an order for your laptop will be placed with our service providers to dispatch the device for delivery. Once your laptop is ready, you will be called by the laptop service provider or your institution to arrange collection/delivery.

Remember, once you are contacted for the delivery and collection of the device, no one can receive/collect the laptop on your behalf, you must be present and also sign before it is handed over to you.

 

Laptop payment

Non-NSFAS-funded students who require a device should consult their institutions as they will remain responsible for the payment of the device and must therefore agree to the payment terms as defined by the institution.

As an NSFAS-funded student, you should upon delivery of the digital learning device, produce a valid ID, proof of registration (or student card) as well as sign the acknowledgment receipt of the digital learning device. You will also be required to agree to the terms and conditions of the device as set out by your institution.
