According to the South African Social Security Agency, 7.5 million persons are eligible to receive the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant (Sassa). Be that as it may, vast numbers of these people have not gotten any cash.

“Those supported but not yet paid are those whose records are extraordinary ledgers or financial balances given bombed financial balance confirmation or ledgers imminent check from Public Depository or the ones who opted to send installments,” Sassa stated.
According to Sassa, payments in cash began on September 19, 2022.
