Nsfas Laptop Application 2024-2025: The Digital Learning Device Project, created by NSFAS, enables students who are financed by NSFAS to get laptops through its bursary program.NSFAS emphasizes that the laptop is just for study purposes. The laptop can be used to access online learning platforms where you’ll need to take tests and exams as well as submit assignments. Assignments and research can also be done on the laptop. All prospective applicants who want to apply for NSFAS laptops for the 2024-2025 academic year can do so. These websites give students some tips on when, where, how, and some documents needed to receive their laptops.
Students will need the following document to apply:
- South African ID number
- Student number
- Contact details
- Name of the institution registered at
- Home address
THE STEPS FOR PLACING AN ORDER ONLINE?
- Click here to visit the NSFAS website.
- Select “myNSFAS” on the top right of the screen.
- Tap on “Click to order your NSFAS Laptop Online”.
- Fill in your ID number and all the other information required.
How To Collect Your Laptop
Once the verification process is complete, an order for your laptop will be placed with our service providers to dispatch the device for delivery. Once your laptop is ready, you will be called by the laptop service provider or your institution to arrange collection/delivery.
Remember, once you are contacted for the delivery and collection of the device, no one can receive/collect the laptop on your behalf, you must be present and also sign before it is handed over to you.
Laptop Payment
Non-NSFAS-funded students who require a device should consult their institutions as they will remain responsible for the payment of the device and must therefore agree to the payment terms as defined by the institution.
