University in South Africa

• Coverage of Facilities
• Considering the actual expenditures incurred by the university (costs for private accommodation must not exceed costs for university residence)
• R7 500 per year covers transportation (up to 40 kilometers from the institution).
• The annual coverage for living expenses is R15,000.
• Annual Cover’s Book salary of R5200
• An annual incidental/personal care expenditure of R2900 is necessary for students living in catered apartments.

Tvet College in South Africa

• Offer R24,000 a year in accommodation in a city.
• Offer R18,900 worth of housing in a peri-urban area.
• R7,350 per year for Cover Transport and R15,750 per year for lodging coverage in a remote area (up to 40 km from the Institution)
• The incidental/personal care allowance is R 2900 per year for Cover Transport.

Nsfas Online Application: Qualification for NSFAS funding

• Everyone who is a citizen of South Africa is entitled to take part in the nsfas program.
• All SASSA awardees are eligible to receive funding from the NSFA.
• Atudents whose household incomes together do not exceed R350 000 annually
• Individual with a disability Each household’s combined income cannot be more than R600,000.
• Applicants who began their studies before to 2018 and whose yearly household income is less than R122 000

• Students who already possess a valid certificate.
• Students whose families make more than R350 000 per year.
• Students that have previously applied, been accepted, and gotten assistance from the nsfas. Students are instantly sponsored for the remaining portion of their education if they complete their courses and meet the academic requirements.

Nsfas Online Application: Supporting Documents needed for Applying

The following records must be submitted by students in clear copies: (failure to provide the required documentation will result in application rejection).

• a paper or ID card (electronic and verified copies)
• complete birth record (if you do not have an ID document or ID card) a certified electronic copy as well as a copy of the parents’ or guardians’ identification (electronic and verified copies)
• a copy of the death certificate for your parents or legal guardians (should it apply) (Certified digital copies)
• Paystubs, employment letters, and pension advice (not older than 3 months) (Send zero SASSA slips. It is appropriate to subtract SASSA from family income.) (Certified digital copies)
• Contact information (If you have a phone number or email address, please enter it so that NSFAS may reach you during the application process and let you know how your application fared.)
• NSFAS Consent Form in PDF—signed by the guardians and completed
• NSFAS Disability Annexure A must be filled out and submitted if you are disabled (.pdf)
• Complete the NSFAS Declaration Form if Orphaned (.pdf) and send it to an Isibindi Center or NYDA office along with a social worker from the Department of Social Development’s signature.
