To help its residents in need, the South African government offers social subsidies. In South Africa, social grants are managed by the SASSA. People who are about to go hungry and need help from the government to raise their level of living are eligible for social handouts. The elderly, those with disabilities, and parents of small children are frequently included in this group. You must be a citizen of South Africa, a legal permanent resident, or a refugee in order to qualify for a social grant. They too must be citizens of South Africa.
What is a Means Test?

How do you determine if you’re eligible for the grant?
To be eligible for the care dependence award, the kid must be under the age of 18 and permanently incapacitated, as assessed by a medical officer.
