How to Apply for an SASSA SRD R350 Grant Online


Here’s a simple three-step process for requesting the SASSA R350 online application award.

Go to srd.sassa.gov.za

Navigate down to the ‘How do I apply for this SRD Grant’ section

Locate and tap on “click here to apply online”

Enter your Mobile Number

Tap “Send SMS”

Your phone will receive an OTP SMS. Check your email for the code.

Enter the One Time Pin (OTP) received

By completing the procedures requested by SASSA, continue with the application process.

To be eligible for the Sassa Care Dependency Grant, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

It is necessary to be a citizen of South Africa, a refugee, or a permanent resident.
The petitioner and the kid must both be citizens of South Africa.
The young person must be younger than 18.
The applicant must produce a medical or assessment report attesting to a serious, permanent impairment.
The means test standards must be met by both the applicant and spouse (except for foster parents).
The kid or children who require constant care should not be institutionalized forever.

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

The primary caregiver must be a citizen of South Africa, a citizen of a permanent resident, or a refugee.
The petitioner and the child must both be citizens of South Africa.
The applicant must be the child’s or children’s primary caretaker.
It is necessary that the kid or children were born after December 31, 1993.

A non-biological child may not apply for more than six children.

Sassa Disability Grant
