sassa grants february 2023-2024

This post is a list of the Sassa payment dates for February 2023-2024.

The Overstrand Thusong Service Center in Hawston will receive social grants from 8:00 to 15:00.

DISABILITY GRANTS are available at other Overstrand halls in February and March from 8:00 to 14:00.

6 February – Disability Grant: Moffat Hall in Mt Pleasant, Overstrand Thusong Centre in Hawston, and Kleinmond Proteadorp Community Hall
27 Feb – Disability Grant: Stanford Community Hall, Gansbaai Blompark Community Hall
13 March – Disability Grant: Mt Pleasant Moffat Hall and Gansbaai Blompark Community Hall
27 March – Disability Grant: Mt Pleasant Moffat Hall, Kleinmond Proteadorp Community Hall

Keep in mind the following:

Payments for the Older Persons Grant will begin on February 3.
Disability Grants will start to be paid on February 4th.
The distribution of the other grants will start on Friday, February 5.
There will be no new grants awarded under the SASSA R350 program in February as it has not been renewed.
You will receive both payments on February 3 or February 4 if you apply for older person or disability benefits and are given several grants.

SASSA on cards remaining valid after March 31, 2021

The SASSA-SAPO Card will not expire on March 31 as has been stated on social media, according to the South African Social Security Agency. (SASSA). These assertions are untrue.
The deadline for SASSA Cards is March 31.
Although there is no timeframe mentioned in the SA Reserve Bank report, the cards will need to be replaced. Eventually, the entire public will be able to find out more information about the new card.
Clients of SASSA who are currently paid by the South African Post Office (SAPO) are not compelled to switch to a different payment option, but they are free to do so if they so choose. After April, they will still receive compensation on their current SASSA-SAPO card.
