Certain Sassa social grant recipients can anticipate an increase in their monthly payments in October as a result of the organization’s enhanced financing.
The South African Social Security Agency increased social benefits in October (Sassa). The R350 SRD grant has been extended for a further year, which will please the recipients.
There were just a few more funds used to provide social aid to South African individuals.
There will be an increase in the following social grants:

Older age (60-74 years old) will rise between R1980 and R1990.

Age will increase from R2000 to R2010.

There will be more veterans of war between R1980 and R1990.

Disability will increase between R1980 and R1990.
-
Care reliance will increase between R1980 and R1990.
Each of these Sassa awards has increased by R10.

While these awards were already increased by R20 in April, the Foster Care Grant, Child Support Grant, and Grant-In-Aid have not been raised.
On the other side, the country’s orphaned children will benefit from the introduction of the Child Support Grant (CSG) Top-up, according to Minister of Social Development Lindiwe Zulu.
Caregivers of orphaned children are qualified to apply for the CSG Top-up, which provides them with R720 per child in total (R480 plus R240 extra per month).
