Mynsfas E-Wallet Is Locked 2024-2025: NSFAS-Funded students who qualify to receive allowances directly from NSFAS will receive cash funds in their NSFAS Wallets. Your NSFAS Wallet will allow you to withdraw cash or spend at any merchant registered by NSFAS. Are you trying to access your allowances but you are getting a message that your account is locked? Here’s why. You are receiving this message if you have typed in your NSFAS Wallet password incorrectly more than three times. This is just a security measure to prevent fraudsters from accessing your allowances. Please ensure that you memorise and safeguard your NSFAS Wallet password. If your NSFAS Wallet is locked, no worries. Here’s why and how to unlock it.

How To Unlock Your NSFAS Wallet By Cell Phone

1. Dial *120*176#
2. Chose “Unlock with OTP”
3. You’ll receive a One Time Pin (OTP) through SMS on your phone
4. Enter the OTP number given to you
5. You’ll receive a notification stating that your wallet is unlocked.

You have successfully unlocked your NSFAS wallet through your cell phone.

NOTE: You will need to have a MyNSFAS Account along with an NSFAS wallet before you can go through the process to unlock your NSFAS wallet.

How to unlock NSFAS Wallet Through Email:

Send an email to unlock@nsfas.org.za. Provide the following information in your email:

• Your ID Number and ID copy
• Your full name and surname
• Your cellphone number and email address
• Your physical and or postal address
• Description of your query
