If you want to reset your myNSFAS portal password, here is what you should do.

Go to www.nsfas.org.za

Click myNSFAS account
Click ‘forgot password
Type in your ID number
Choose one of the following options:
- I can’t remember my username
- I can’t remember my password
- I can’t remember my username and password
Choose the relevant option
Click ‘submit’
A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to you via SMS and email to the cellphone number and email you provided
Check your cellphone or email for the OTP. This OTP is only valid for 24 hours
Type the OTP number in the provided block
Click ‘submit’
A link to reset your login details will be sent to you via email and SMS
Click on the link that was received through SMS or email
Follow the reset process
Create a new password by following the instruction on the screen
Click ‘submit’

After you complete these steps, you’ll receive your new password via your cell phone number in the NSFAS system. Try to save your new NSFAS password so that, you don’t lose or forget it again.
