Starting from the 28th of September 2023, the Nsfas application window for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open. All South African students who have been enrolled in Ekurhuleni West TVET College can apply for the funds. Applicants must prepare all the relevant documents and apply on time. To complete your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2024-2025, you must have the following information:

•  You must have a phone number and an email address of your own.
• A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
•  You should also provide copies of your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s identification cards.
• 1 year’s worth of IRP5 or proof of income (if applicable,)
• Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse
•  SASSA grant beneficiaries are not required to show proof of income.
•  All disabled applicants must present a completed and signed Disability Annexure. A Document

 Ewc Students Who qualifies for NSFAS Funding?

• All South African citizens
• All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
• Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
• A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
• Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a beneficial scheme in South Africa which seeks to support poor students or parents financially. To access your NSFAS funding progress, applicants must complete the NSFAS Application Online Form for the 2024–2025 academic year in order to be eligible for this funding The Nsfas online application opening date for the 2024 study season begins on the 7th of November 2023 and closes on the 21st of January 2024. it is advisable to apply on time.
