How Do I Complete the Online SASSA R350 Grant Form 2024 Application?
2023–2024 Sassa R350 Grant Application Online: Simple steps are involved in the process.
Fill out the online form for Sassa SRD (srd.sassa.gov.za). Your username and password will then be sent to your phone through SMS. You must first confirm that all of the information is accurate before you can properly finish the form.
The Special Relief of Distress (SRD) award is now managed under the Social Assistance Act rather than the State of Catastrophe Act because we are no longer in a state of catastrophe. In light of this, how will SRD grant applications function in 2024?
In March 2024, the SRD award is scheduled to expire. Anyone with an interest is welcome to view the Sassa R350 award submissions each month.
An applicant must allow Sassa permission to verify their identity, place of residence, source of income, or social security benefits before Sassa can access or consider their SRD grant application. The declaration and consent must also be accepted by applicants.
Current grantees are invited to reapply under the new Act. You won’t need to reapply after the first time.
Applicants are recommended to submit just one application rather than several ones across various platforms. Once the application has been properly submitted, you will be contacted.
Before the 15th of the month, Sassa must either accept or reject all SRD grant applications. After that, beneficiaries would get an SMS letting them know if they were accepted or not.
Instructions for the Online SRD Grant Application

Please go to srd.sassa.gov.za.

To apply for this SRD Grant, scroll down to the section titled “How do I apply?” To apply online, click the yellow banner that says “click here.”

Type in your cell phone number.

Select “Send SMS” from the menu.

Then key in the one-time pin that Sassa sent to the phone number.

Follow Sassa’s instructions to finish the application procedure.
All SRD R350 awards need to be reconfirmed or reapplied for at least once every three months, applicants should be aware of this.
