Before you may apply for a funding opportunity, you must create an account on Grants.gov. If you are submitting a grant application on your own or on behalf of an organization, you only need to create a single Grants.gov account. With Grants.gov, registration just requires a little period of time.
With the My Account capabilities, you can add a profile to be linked to an applicant organization and manage one or more profiles within your Grants.gov account. If you currently have a Grants.gov account, you do not need to create another one.
Find out how roles are added to profiles and how to check on the progress of your roles after adding a profile. If this is the first time your group has utilized Grants.gov or federal funds, have a look at the Organization Registration page.
