nsfas vacancies 2024-2025: The NSFAS is a schedule 3(A) entity governed by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme Act (56 of 1999). The role of the organisation is to provide financial aid to eligible students from poor and working-class families who would otherwise not be able to afford to study at South African TVET colleges and public universities. NSFAS has vacancies for applicants to apply for jobs. NSFAS is receiving forms from applicants and will be closing on 23 September 2024. The following vacancies exist in Cape Town. NSFAS does not consider late applications. NSFAS only corresponds with Shortlisted Candidates. Legal Manager (Permanent)
The main purpose of the job is to manage the legal services and provision of legal advisory services in support of NSFAS’ operations. The job is secondly responsible for the effective management of all legal and contractual risks. The job is lastly responsible for all governance-related matters in terms of efficient and lawful administration, including the drafting of regulations where necessary.

Corporate Communications Manager (Permanent)
The main purpose of the job is to tell the NSFAS story across multiple platforms, digital and traditional; build communication support for the aims and work of NSFAS. The role of the Manager is to develop strategies and creates trusted, objective information and inclusive messages that enable stakeholder engagements in the work of NSFAS. It delivers public relations campaigns, in line with the strategic communications objectives set by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Policy Formulation Specialist (Permanent)
The purpose of this job is to facilitate the review and updating of NSFAS Eligibility Criteria/Student Funding Criteria. The job also involves the establishment of processes that enables the review of an existing policy, conducting research to inform new policy developments and updates as well as the consultation process with the sole purpose of facilitating the funding decisions for new, continuing and returning students.
