Nsfas Online Form 2024-2025: The NSFAS Act enable any student to apply for a bursary from NSFAS through the online application form but allows the board to impose conditions, generally, or in respect of a particular loan or bursary. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme(NSFAS) form pdf download is available online for download. The application will open from 2nd November to 7th January 2024. Therefore, all prospective applicants who want to apply for NSFAS funding must be in a hurry to avoid late applications. The following documents will be needed during the application.
Who Can Apply For NSFAS Application Online Form?
- All South African citizens
- All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
- Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
- A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
- Students who started studying before 2018 whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.
REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will require more information from you to process your application, so you need to provide the following supporting documents to ensure your application is successful.
- Provide your own cellphone number and email address
- You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
- National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
- The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
- The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
- If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
- All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
- An applicant known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application Form
- Once the student has created an account/profile and captured the required information, they click on apply and the screen above appears. Students should fill in the fathers’ details if the field applies to them and Click Next
- Students should fill in the mothers’ details only if this field applies to them and click Next, if this field does not apply to the student, they can Click Next
- Married students with spouses should fill in the required details and Click Next, if this field does not apply to the student, they can Click Next
- Students with guardians should fill in the required information and Click Next, if this field does not apply to the student, they can Click Next
- Once the student has completed all required fields and steps, the student will be required to upload the necessary documents, upon completion student can Click Next
- Students should confirm if the details and documents uploaded are correct and submit
- Final Step: Once the student clicks on “Submit” the application will be submitted successfully
