The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has opened applications for NSFAS Trimester for all TVET College students who seek to get financial support from NSFAS. Applicants are therefore encouraged to apply as soon as possible before the deadline. The application is scheduled to open on November 2, 2023, and close on the 21st of January 2024. The application must be done online via www.nsfas.org.za for students who are to apply themselves. Prepare all the relevant documents needed during the application process and follow the steps below to apply for Nsfas Online Application For Trimester 2024-2025.
Required Supporting Documents Needed To Apply NSFAS Online.
To complete your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2024-2025, you must have the following information:
- You must have a phone number and an email address of your own.
- A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
- You should also provide copies of your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s identification cards.
- 1 year’s worth of IRP5 or proof of income (if applicable,)
- Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse
- SASSA grant beneficiaries are not required to show proof of income.
- All disabled applicants must present a completed and signed Disability Annexure. A Document

How to Apply for Nsfas Online Application For Trimester 2024-2025
- Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
- Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
- Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
- Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
- Update your personal information
- Answer the questions you see on the screen
- Upload all the required supporting documents
- Finally, you click on ‘submit
How to view/check my nsfas online application status
To check your NSFAS application status:
- Log into your myNSFAS account portal.
- Enter your ID or username and password.
- Click the SIGN IN! button.
- Once you log into your account dashboard, click on Track Funding Progress to check your application status.
- If your application has been successful, Congrats! If not, better luck next time.
