Nsfas Online Application Documents Needed 2024-2025

Nsfas Online Application Documents Needed 2024-2025: Applications for NSFAS are now officially open on myNSFAS for those who wish to be funded. Starting on 2nd November 2023 and ending on 7th January 2024. Applicants must provide the required documents for their NSFAS financing application to be complete. Be sure to check whether you have submitted them all correctly along with the correct details and you should be well on your way to benefitting from this NSFAS bursary. The following documents must be submitted with your NSFAS online application:

 

Nsfas Online Application Documents Needed

Before applying, candidates should verify that they match the following minimum entrance standards to avoid being denied by the nsfas board

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

 

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will require more information from you to process your application, so you need to provide the following supporting documents to ensure your application is successful.

  1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
  2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
  5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
  6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
  7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
  8. An applicant who is known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

 

How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application

  1. Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
  3. Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
  4. Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
  5. Update your personal information
  6. Answer the questions you see on the screen
  7. Upload all the required supporting documents
  8. Finally, you click on ‘submit
