APS simply means Admission Points Score. The Admission Points Score (APS) is a simple calculation method that universities use to determine whether or not prospective students are qualified for a qualification.
PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ADMISSION POINT SCORE (APS)
Prospective students will need to meet the minimum APS in order to be considered for a specific program.
Normally, each matric topic for which you write an exam awards you points. Your grade in each subject will determine how many points you receive for that course. The sum of the points you acquire for each course makes up your APS score.
HOW TO CALCULATE UNISA APS. A SIMPLE WAY FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
For Prospective students to calculate their APS for UNISA, they will need to add their six subject percentages.
- If incase you have more than six subjects, excluding Life Orientation.
- The University of South Africa need you to have six subjects in total when calculating your APS for UNISA.
Generally, for each matric subject you write, you get a point. The points you get for each course will depend on the percentage you score in that particular subject. The APS is the total points you accumulate from each course.
Prospective students are required to meet the minimumAPS in order to be considered for a specific program at the University of South Africa (Unisa).
