2. Create a MyNSFAS Account
3. Login into your Account
4. Click on the Apply
5. Complete the forms by filling in all the sections
6. Click submit to send your application for review and possible approval

Required Documents For Filling NSFAS Online Application

Before you can fill out your NSFAS application form online, you’ll need the documents below.

1. 1. A cell phone number
   2. An email address
   3. Certified copies of your Identification Documents (ID)
   4. You should have applied for a public institution and waiting for admission acceptance
   5. Certified or official copy of recent payslip, employment letter, not older than three months
   6. Prove household income (this includes SASSA grants, Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), or retirement, disability, or other financial benefits you get.)
   7. Copy of parents/guardian/spouse/ Identification documents (if applicable)
   8. If you’re disability, you’ll complete a disability Annexure A and B and submit them

An opportunity has started and qualified applicants are welcome to apply to get financial support to continue their education in various universities and Tvet colleges.  The National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) online application 2024/2025 academic year opens 1st of September and closes 30th of November 2024. Make sure you read and know the document needed during the application. REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
8. An applicant who is known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
