  1. Go to www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Click on the MyNSFAS account
  3. Click forgot password
  4. Enter your ID number
  5. Choose the best option for your password reset
    1. I can’t remember my username
    2. I can’t remember my password
    3. I can’t remember my username and password
  6. Click submit
  7. You’ll receive a One Time Pin (OTP) on your cell phone number and your email
  8. Enter the OTP in the required field
  9. You’ll receive a unique link to use to reset your MyNSFAS password via SMS and email
  10. Click on the link received in your email
  11. Create a new password for your MyNSFAS account

How to make changes to your National Student Financial Aid Scheme account:

  • Please visit nsfas.org.za and log in.
  • Please enter your username and password (under the ‘already registered’ option) to continue.
  • Click the ‘sign in’ button.
