REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will require more information from you to process your application, so you need to provide the following supporting documents to ensure your application is successful.

  1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
  2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
  5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
  6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
  7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
  8. An applicant known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

 

Where To Submit Nsfas Application Form 2024-2025

With your computer, iPad, or any other smartphone connected to the internet,  applicants can fill out the NSFAS Online Application form by visiting the NSFAS official website www.nsfas.org.za to submit their application form.

 

How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application Form

  1. Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
  3. Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
  4. Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
  5. Update your personal information
  6. Answer the questions you see on the screen
  7. Upload all the required supporting documents
  8. Finally, you click on ‘submit

Who Can Apply For the NSFAS Application Online Form?

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

Where Do I Submit My Nsfas Application Form 2024-2025: After downloading the NSFAS online application form and filling it out you may be wondering how and where to submit the form. Applicants in such situations can continue reading through this article to know more. Applicants must make sure they are applying for the NSFAS funding during the application date. Starting from November 2, 2023, and close on January 7, 2024. Also, make sure you have provided the necessary documents needed correctly.  Continue reading to know where to submit your NSFAS application form.

 

Where to submit nsfas application form

  1. Hand in your completed application form and supporting documents to the Financial Aid Office (FAO) at your university or TVET college.
  2. Scan or email your completed application form and supporting documents to NSFAS at apply@nsfas.org.za.
  3. Fax your completed application and supporting documents to NSFAS at 086 644 2822.
  4. Post your completed application form and supporting documents to NSFAS, Private Bag X4, Plumstead, Western Cape, 7801.

Please Note: You must write your identity (ID) number in the top right-hand corner of every page of the application form and on every page of all of your supporting documents. NSFAS will not be able to process applications without an identity number.

 

How To Upload Documents

  • Go to my.nsfas.org.za and log in using your details.
  • Click on the option to ‘upload outstanding supporting documents
  • Then click on the tab ‘Submit Documents

 

How to Apply for NSFAS Online

If you would like to apply for NSFAS 2024, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. You have to visit the NSFAS website: www.nsfas.org.za online
  2. Then, you have to click on the “myNSFAS” tab
  3. After that, you create your myNSFAS account
  4. After creating myNSFAS account, you then have to click on the “Apply” tab
  5. Answer the following questions you see on your screen
  6. Update all your personal information
  7. Upload all the required supporting documents
  8. Lastly, Click on “Submit” to send your application for review.
