Nsfas Online Appeal Form 2024-2025: The National Student Financial Aid Scheme is open to accept applications for appeals. This means all students who applied for NSFAS funding but whose applications were unsuccessful can appeal to NSFAS. Again, continuing students whose funding was cancelled or revoked can submit their appeal motivational letters for reconsideration of restoring their funding. Appeals for NSFAS 2023 open from 24 January 2024. Students can begin to write and submit their appeals o NSFAS from this date. In order to appeal your NSFAS application, you must do so using the NSFAS student portal. You will then need to submit your appeal application along with the required information and documents. How To Submit Your NSFAS Appeal

1. Log into your “MyNSFAS” account on www.nsfas.org.za​
2. Click the ‘Track Funding Progress’ option
3. Check the application progress tabs
4. If your application status reflects an unsuccessful message, you may submit an appeal by clicking on the ‘Submit Appeal Tab’
5. Once you are on the ‘Application Appeal’ page, you can see the reason for your unsuccessful application status
6. You are then able to choose the appeal reason
7. Then upload certified supporting documents to support your reason
8. Then click ‘Submit Appeal’
9. You may now track the progress of the appeal on your myNSFAS account.

The appeal takes at most 30 days. At times, it might take a shorter time. Nonetheless, NSFAS should not take more than one month to respond to your application.
