Nsfas Appeal Application Form 2024-2025: The National Student Financial Aid Scheme is open to accept applications for appeals. This means all students who applied for NSFAS funding but whose applications were unsuccessful can appeal to NSFAS. Again, continuing students whose funding was cancelled or revoked can submit their appeal motivational letters for reconsideration of restoring their funding. Appeals for NSFAS 2024 open from 24 January 2024. Students can begin to write and submit their appeals o NSFAS from this date. Applicants whose previous application for NSFAS funding was unsuccessful and waiting for the National Students Financial Aid Scheme to open an application for appeal can follow the simple steps below to appeal for NSFAS funding.

How To Submit Your NSFAS Appeal

Log into your “MyNSFAS” account on www.nsfas.org.za
Click the ‘Track Funding Progress’ option
Check the application progress tabs
If your application status reflects an unsuccessful message, you may submit an appeal by clicking on the ‘Submit Appeal Tab’
Once you are on the ‘Application Appeal’ page, you can see the reason for your unsuccessful application status
You are then able to choose the appeal reason
Then upload certified supporting documents to support your reason
Then click ‘Submit Appeal’
You may now track the progress of the appeal on your myNSFAS account.

The appeal takes at most 30 days. At times, it might take a shorter time. Nonetheless, NSFAS should not take more than one month to respond to your application.

How to Check NSFAS Application Status

In order to check NSFAS Application Status, you must follow the simple steps below:

Visit the NSFAS Status website: www.nsfas.org.za
Then, log in to your myNSFAS account, if you don’t have one, create one. Click HERE
Enter your User ID
Type in the password you created during the application process.
Click “Track Funding Progress” to check your NSFAS Application Status.
