My Nsfas Registration For 2024-2025

My Nsfas Registration For 2024-2025: Are you seeking to know how to register for NSFAS Funding Online? Well then, you’re at the right place to learn how you can register for NSFAS. In this article, we’re going to show you how you can register for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) Funding online. In order to receive funding from NSFAS, you have to register for an account first, and then apply for the financial scheme. The Registration will be open for 2 weeks from 17 August 2024 until 3 September 2024. Applicants must make sure they have the NSFAS requirements below before registering.

 

Who qualifies To Register?

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

 

Documents Needed During My Nsfas Registration Process

  1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
  2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
  3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
  4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
  5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
  6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
  7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
  8. An applicant who is known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

 

How To Register NSFAS Online

  1. Visit www.nsfas.org.za login.
  2. Click the myNSFAS tab.
  3. Click register.
  4. Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details.
  5. Then capture the ID number as stated on your ID document.
  6. Type in your full name and surname as per your ID number.
  7. Type in your current email address.
  8. Confirm your email address.
  9. Type in your cellphone number.
  10. Create a password.
  11. Confirm password.
  12. Upload ID Copy.
  13. Click register.
  14. You will be sent an OTP to the email and cell number provided (this OTP expires after 24 hours).
  15. Type in the OTP and click Submit.
  16. You have now completed your NSFAS account re-registration.
