My Nsfas Re Application 2024-2025
My Nsfas Re Application 2024-2025: The NSFAS Act (Act 56 of 1999) established the NSFAS as a government entity under the Department of Higher Education and Training to give financial assistance to underprivileged students who seek to continue their studies at public universities or TVET colleges. To access your NSFAS funding progress through your MyNSFAS account, you must register a MyNSFAS account on the NSFAS official website. After registering, applicants can apply for funding. Kindly follow the instructions stated below to register and apply online.
When is NSFAS Opening for Applications?
REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO RE-REGISTER AND APPLY
- Provide your own cellphone number and email address
- You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
- National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
- The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
- The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
- If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
- All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
- An applicant known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
How To Re Register For NSFAS
- Go to www.nsfas.org.za
- Click myNSFAS tab
- Click Register
- Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details
- Then capture your ID number as it is stated on your ID document
- Type in your full name and surname as per your ID document
- Type in your current email address
- Confirm your email address
- Type in your cell phone number
- Create a password
- Confirm password
- Upload ID copy
- Click Register
- OTP will be sent to the email and cell number provided (this OTP expires after 24 hours)
- Type in the OTP and click submit
You have now completed your re-registration
How to Apply for NSFAS Bursary Online Application
- Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
- Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
- Create a myNSFAS account.
- Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
- Update your personal information
- Answer the questions you see on the screen
- Upload all the required supporting documents
- Finally, you click on ‘submit
