My.nsfas.org.za Online Application 2023-2024: Are you looking for a reliable online application to apply for financial support to continue your tertiary education, Nsfas is the perfect option for you. National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a bursary scheme funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training for those who do not have the financial means to fund their studies. The NSFAS application will be opening from August 3 through November 30. Application submitted after the closing date will not be considered. Applicants must prepare all relevant supporting documents and apply online by following the simple steps below.

Who qualifies for NSFAS Online Application?

• All South African citizens
• All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
• Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
• A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
• Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Provide your own cellphone number and email address
2. You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
3. National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
4. The evidence of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
5. The proof of income of your parents, guardian, or spouse.
6. If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you don’t need to provide any evidence of income.
7. All Applicants with a disability should provide and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
8. An applicant who is known as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application 2023-2024

1. Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
2. Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
3. Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
4. Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
5. Update your personal information
6. Answer the questions you see on the screen
7. Upload all the required supporting documents
8. Finally, you click on ‘submit
