My Nsfas Appeal 2024-2025: If NSFAS has rejected your funding application, you might want to appeal. Both new students and continuing students whose previous NSFAS application was unsuccessful can begin to submit their appeal letters for reviewing and possible approval. But you may be wondering how to appeal for your application. Students whose NSFAS application status shows “Unsuccessful” must send their appeals within 30 days starting from 3 February 2024 and close on 3 March 2024. This article gives you all the information you need to know to appeal for the NSFAS application appeal successfully.
How To Submit Your NSFAS Appeal
- Log into your “MyNSFAS” account on www.nsfas.org.za
- Click the ‘Track Funding Progress’ option
- Check the application progress tabs
- If your application status reflects an unsuccessful message, you may submit an appeal by clicking on the ‘Submit Appeal Tab’
- Once you are on the ‘Application Appeal’ page, you can see the reason for your unsuccessful application status
- You are then able to choose the appeal reason
- Then upload certified supporting documents to support your reason
- Then click ‘Submit Appeal’
- You may now track the progress of the appeal on your myNSFAS account.
The appeal takes at most 30 days. At times, it might take a shorter time. Nonetheless, NSFAS should not take more than one month to respond to your application.
How to Check NSFAS Application Status
In order to check NSFAS Application Status, you must follow the simple steps below:
- Visit the NSFAS Status website: www.nsfas.org.za
- Then, log in to your myNSFAS account, if you don’t have one, create one. Click HERE
- Enter your User ID
- Type in the password you created during the application process.
- Click “Track Funding Progress” to check your NSFAS Application Status.
