Is Nsfas Online Application Still Open 2024-2025: Applicants who wish to apply for the NSFAS have been eagerly awaiting the day the National Student Financial Aid Scheme announces that NSFAS bursary applications will be opened. The NSFAS opening date has now been revealed by the Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande. The 2024/2025 NSFAS application is scheduled to open on November 2, 2023, and close on the 21st of January 2024. Required Supporting Documents Needed To Apply NSFAS Online.

To complete your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2024-2025, you must have the following information:

You must have a phone number and an email address of your own.
A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
You should also provide copies of your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s identification cards.
1 year’s worth of IRP5 or proof of income (if applicable,)
Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse
SASSA grant beneficiaries are not required to show proof of income.
All disabled applicants must present a completed and signed Disability Annexure. A Document

How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application When Opened

Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
Update your personal information
Answer the questions you see on the screen
Upload all the required supporting documents
Finally, you click on ‘submit

How to view/check my nsfas online application status

To check your NSFAS application status:

Log into your myNSFAS account portal.
Enter your ID or username and password.
Click the SIGN IN! button.
Once you log into your account dashboard, click on Track Funding Progress to check your application status.
